| Protecting the environment at Lake Quinault From its rare rainforest to its unique flora and fauna to its unspoiled rivers and streams, the natural resources of this area are precious, and at Lake Quinault Lodge we are committed to preserving them. In fact, we have recently been awarded the Green Seal Environmental Certification. Our practices to protect the environment are extensive. We use water and energy conserving appliances and flow restrictive devices in water outlets. We practice recycling...including office paper, cardboard and glass. Pesticides are not permitted, and all guest rooms are entirely non-smoking. In conjunction with the U.S. Forest Service, ARAMARK sponsors numerous environmentally friendly efforts including annual pick-up and clean-up event days. |
